While it is said that all roads lead to Rome, we can add today that they all pass through Geneva, situated at the heart of the continent and easily reached by road, rail or air from all capitals of Europe and the world. But Geneva is not just a renowned crossroads where cosmopolitan modernity rubs shoulders with tradition. Its specificity is due just as much to the subtle mixture of history and the future that it instills into all its visitors, as to the beauty of its natural environment which it has been able to preserve and which is indissociable with the quality of life that it offers its guests and inhabitants. A major international centre, Geneva is constantly developing its facilities and is doing everything possible to encourage companies to base themselves in its territory, where they can find comfort and security as well as highly qualified staff. But Geneva, realizing the importance of the Lake Léman Region as a whole, is cooperating more and more closely with the neighbouring districts of France, without forgetting Europe whose destiny it shares.
