The Administrative Council will present the Municipal Council with a credit of 6,879,505 francs intended to fund the round-the-clock emergency shelter set up at the beginning of the health crisis at the Frank-Thomas shelter and on the site in les Vernets.
This sum will also be used to finance the prolongation of this shelter mechanism during the summer transition phase, 12 hours a day. Furthermore, thanks to this credit, the Administrative Council aims to ensure that the shelter can be extended to the coming winter.
In the meantime, the Administrative Council will reopen dialogue with the state, the municipalities and the associative partners with a view to developing long-term housing solutions intended for homeless people.
