From 1 to 3 April 2022, the European Artistic Crafts (EACD) return to Geneva, offering you the chance to discover the daily lives of 25 professionals in the field of artistic crafts.

Some 25 artistic crafts and just as many craftsmen together with five vocational schools will come together at the Pavillon Sicli where demonstrations, discussions, meetings, conferences and screenings will be organised (with a food court). At the same time, a cultural circuit on the theme of music and theatre is organised within 5 cultural institutions in Geneva.

La Musicale, the Grand Théâtre de Genève, the Comédie de Genève, the Théâtre de Carouge and the Musée d'art et d'histoire are also opening their doors to offer the public an insight into the professions in the field of culture.

Cultural circuit

Prime sites for the conservation of memory, the preservation of traditions and artistic research, the cultural institutions of Geneva maintain an essential link between the general public and local history and culture. To facilitate dialogue with the city, they work with a large number of professionals in the field of artistic crafts to keep a constantly changing culture alive, thereby guaranteeing rich dialogue with the population through a process of sharing.

By opening their doors during the European Artistic Crafts Days on the theme of music and theatre, these institutions provide an insight into these professions dedicated to culture while offering visitors a precious opportunity to discover the underlying secrets.
