The new City website is online. A new design, enhanced accessibility and a large volume of English-language content provide you with readily available information concerning the administration, the services provided and the wide-ranging events organised by the City.
This website contains practical information and news relating to the services available as well as all the events organised by the City of Geneva.
Applications for support, the general organisation of the administration, exhibitions, open times of swimming pools and services available to the general public, enrolment for sporting activities or the Cité Seniors programme – you can find everything at geneve.ch. There are also themed pages, detailed dossiers and a “What to do in Geneva?” section.
12,000 visits per day
The website currently records 12,000 visits per day, with more than half of these using mobile phones. It represents an important element of the City’s information and communication mechanism.
The social networks, video and the Vivre à Genève magazine, published four times a year, complete the civic information mechanism. A weekly digital newsletter proposing a selection of activities and events is also available by means of subscription via the website.
