The Art and History Museum is delighted to invite the Kyiv National Art Gallery to present the “From dusk to dawn” exhibition at the Musée Rath from 8 December 2022 to 23 April 2023 as part of its 100th anniversary celebrations.
Inaugurated in Kyiv in 2021, this exhibition presents part of the cultural heritage of Ukraine. The theme of night-time is explored through a number of outstanding paintings and graphic works.
Contrasts
The contrasts between light and darkness, stunning sunsets and dawns full of hope echo numerous landscape paintings in the MAH collection.
The theme of the never-ending struggle of the light against the shadows lends the exhibition great symbolic significance in the current context.
