Free admission on Sunday 29 January, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., at the Plainpalais community centre to participate in a new edition of the “Family Games” day. Kids, young people and parents are invited to discover the latest board games and a whole host of fun activities. A full day of entertainment together with helpful advice from the City of Geneva’s games librarians.
From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on 29 January 2023, the Plainpalais community centre will welcome children, families and fans of games to participate in the “Family Games” day, open to all and entirely free of charge.
A magnificent programme of activities has been organised by the Schools Service in collaboration with the games libraries. Board games, strategy games, construction games and traditional or original games will be available to participants of every age. The games librarians will be on hand to explain the rules of the different games.
Activities and workshops
As usual, the City of Geneva’s games librarians and their partners will guide the public around the different games and creative activities.
Take advantage of a huge choice of activities in the different areas:
- Pok game® ;
- Escape game;
- Musical entertainment (morning).
Workshops throughout the day:
- Escape game;
- Creations on paper and cardboard.
During this edition of Family Games, visitors will also have the chance to win a number of prizes in a tombola organised throughout the morning and afternoon.
