Localised street map of “Acacias 1”: exhibition and naturalist visits around the future district

The street map of the “Acacias 1” district, located within the Praille Acacias Vernets (PAV) area, meets the need for more accommodation in the city centre, with almost 2,230 residential units to be built from 2030 in this new district.

Currently a highly mineral environment where cars are commonplace, this new sector of les Acacias will become a large pedestrian area through which the River Drize, once again open to the sky, will run.

Exhibition at the Pavillon Sicli

From 8 May to 16 June 2023, you will be able to discover the future sector in the district of les Acacias, “Acacias 1”:  a new, mixed urban district, almost entirely pedestrianised, that will be home to residential buildings and numerous public facilities such as a school complex, a nursery and other services intended for the local inhabitants.

Naturalist visits of the PAV

A series of walks, organised in cooperation with the association la Libellule, will also be held – reservations necessary. These walks will provide a better understanding of the importance attached to nature in the districts of the PAV and how this sector might be developed in an urban environment in order to create high-quality residential neighbourhoods.
