From 9 June to 30 September 2021, the two ludobuses will be wending their way through the city, offering children and families the chance to enjoy some welcome entertainment.
In addition to a healthy dose of fun and laughter, the ludobuses provide children with an opportunity to discover, learn and socialise.
Through the ludobuses, children can play in complete safety thanks to the implementation of appropriate protection plans. This summer, the red and blue ludobuses will ply their trade in twenty parks and school yards, bringing with them a selection of games enabling children and adults alike to meet up and enjoy a range of fun activities.
The ludobus on both shores
The ludobuses can be found in the parks and public squares, Mondays to Thursdays from 4 p.m. to 6.30 p.m. during term time. Throughout July and August, opening times will be from 3.30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Each ludobus will follow its specific route until 30 September. This service is provided by the Schools and Child Institutions Service in collaboration with the ludothèques of the City of Geneva, which bring their service to the public. Free supervision is organised by a team of ludothèque staff who are attentive to the needs of everyone present.
The ludobuses offer cheerful moments of social cohesion, which facilitate the integration of families in the different neighbourhoods by encouraging encounters and interaction.
The summer ludobus programme is available for download at the bottom of the page.
The socio-sanitary precautions linked to Covid-19 apply. To ensure compliance with the protection plan, a maximum of 50 people can be present in the play area.
