To mark World Food Day, the City of Geneva is serving up an entire week focusing on the theme of sustainable food, running from 12 to 16 October 2020.
The aim of this forum is to bring together stakeholders in the field of sustainable food, citizens, farmers and the people of Geneva with a view to discussing the contents of our plates and, more generally speaking, our relationship with food.
It is an ideal opportunity for different trades and sectors in the food industry to meet and for professionals and everyday citizens to get together, put on their kitchen aprons, taste different products and discuss this issue. The common thread of this year’s edition will be food waste.
Throughout the week, discover cooking workshops, the awards ceremony for the Geneva Semaine du Goût competition, a conference on food waste and World Food Day, which will bring the forum to a close.
The partners collaborating with this forum include the State of Geneva, Swiss Food Academy, MA-Terre (Maison de l’alimentation du territoire), the FAO (Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations) and the Partage Foundation.
