The aim of this forum, one of the highlights of Geneva - City of Taste 2021, is to bring together stakeholders in the field of sustainable food, citizens, farmers and the people of Geneva with a view to discussing the contents of our plates and, more generally speaking, our relationship with food.
A meeting of different trades
It is an ideal opportunity for different trades and sectors in the food industry to meet and for professionals and amateurs to compare their points of view. It also offers participants the chance to put on their kitchen aprons and taste different products.
Why not drop into the “0 km” vegan cooking workshop, another workshop dedicated to “zero waste” or the “Meet Ms. Potato” parent-children activity (À la rencontre de Madame Patate). The public conference scheduled for Thursday 14 October, entitled “Everything you need to know about agricultural production methods” (Tout savoir sur les modes de production agricole), will also provide an opportunity to learn more about this key issue while debating and sharing ideas on the subject. A distribution of soup made from unsold vegetables will be organised on World Food Day on Saturday 16 October.
The forum is organised in collaboration with the Swiss Food Academy and ma-terre.
