Once again this year, the City of Geneva offers people of every age the chance to play golf in the city centre, thanks to a 9-hole course that is about 4 km long. It begins in Parc des Bastions and stretches across both shores of the lake.
Discover the most attractive sites around the bay while enjoying a local sporting activity! This is possible thanks to the 4-kilometre urban golf course organised by the City, starting in Parc des Bastions. Today, you can enjoy a relaxed round of urban golf, taking in the parks, promenades and gardens, while complying with the health precautions.
The urban golf course is open 7 days a week from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. until 23 August. The installation is not open in the event of rain. Groups of more than 10 people are asked to make a reservation using the form that can be downloaded at the bottom of the page.
The equipment (clubs and balls) is available free of charge from the chalet located between the kiosk in Parc les Bastions and the Reformation Wall. It is managed by young people under the auspices of the Association BAB-VIA and in compliance with the health rules.
The circuit lasts about 2 hours. The 8 stations offer you the chance to rediscover various emblematic heritage sites around the city, such as the Promenade de la Treille, the Jardin Anglais and the Brunswick Monument. It is the ideal means of combining exercise and relaxation while enjoying the city’s parks and the lake shore.
Do your children want to discover urban golf? From 16 to 24 July, introductory courses are available for children aged 10 to 12. This activity is organised Monday to Friday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. To learn more about the programme and the registration procedure, consult the holiday pass website.
