Spring with Sempé | Bastions and surrounding area | until 7 April
As night falls, visit les Bastions to see the facades of several buildings burst into colour. Some fifty drawings by Sempé will be projected onto the buildings, serving up a blend of gentle and mischievous humour… “Drôlement chouette” as Le Petit Nicolas, one of the artist’s creations, would say! Acoustic belvederes | Throughout the holidays
If you want a break from hunting for Easter eggs, why not seek out some urban artworks? The Acoustic belvederes and the accompanying free app off you the chance to explore ten works hidden around Geneva while listening to ten in-situ acoustic creations by musicians from the local scene. Free.
Theatre of experiences | MHS | Until 11 April
This exhibition at the Museum of Science History presents a multitude of demonstration and experimentation instruments which were formerly used to teach physics. Replicas and interactive systems will enable the public to test and understand a range of phenomena, firing their curiosity.
Scientific workshops | Les p’tits debs | 5 to 9 April
If you want to give the holidays a taste of science and critical thinking, visit the Petits Débrouillards Genève, which will organise a week focussing on the theme of electricity for 9-13 year-olds. From 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. CHF 270 (meals included).

Why not take advantage of the fine weather to drop in and visit the residents of the Bois-de-la-Bâtie wildlife park together with their new babies? Chocolatey treasure hunt in the old town | Old town | 3 April
A treasure hunt combining chocolate-based challenges and historical puzzles will offer families the chance to explore the old town and discover its master craftsmen. Gourmet treats guaranteed! From 0 to CHF 30, depending on age.
Flan-tastic kitchen workshop | Le 99 community centre | 5 April
On the menu for April is a flan-tastic recipe served up by Swiss Food Academy, guaranteed to teach little chefs more about eggs. CHF 10 per child, registration required.
Egg hunt | La Servette games library | 8 April
Between the cinema and DIY activities, there will be lots going on during the school holidays at La Servette games library! Among the free activities organised, a traditional egg hunt will have the children’s mouths watering.

Skateboarding camp | Plainpalais skate park | 5 to 9 April
The association Gvask8 is organising an Easter camp at the Plainpalais skate park for children aged 8 and over, Monday to Friday from 9.30 a.m. to 11.30 a.m. Ample opportunity to discover the sport or become a seasoned freestyler. Opening of les Charmilles rink | 6 to 10 April
More skating, but this time on rollerskates, with the opening of les Charmilles seasonal rink to young people under the age of 20, every afternoon from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Free admission, skate hire (CHF 2).

With a treasure hunt in its magnificent park, fun media to prepare your visit and a play and drawing area, the Ariana Museum is without a doubt the playground of the young! Free, closed on Mondays.
Games libraries | City of Geneva | Throughout the holidays
A jumble of games, a meeting area and fun activities await you in one of the twelve games libraries around Geneva. Contact the games library in your neighbourhood before visiting, as opening hours are restricted during the school holidays.
Brilliant rockeries | CJBG | Throughout the holidays
There are places that change every day but where we always feel good… The Botanical conservatory and gardens are a perfect example, offering you the chance to discover new blooms every day. A genuine explosion of colours to be enjoyed in the open air, and in particular in the rockeries.
Espace AG !R | MHN | from 6 to 11 April
The new espace AG!R takes an in-depth look at flora, but that’s not all. Open to the public from 6 April, it provides a wealth of information about biodiversity and the environmental crisis facing us. A play area will welcome young and old alike to discover topics such as bird migration, forests and ecosystems. More activities will gradually be announced on the MHN website. Free. Closed on Mondays
One, Two, Street Art | Quartier Libre SIG | Until 4 April
This immersive and interactive exhibition will allow young and old alike to slip into the shoes of a street artist or to understand the different creation techniques with the help of a graffiti wall, some digital spray or a pixel art set. A treasure hunt will also offer kids the chance to discover urban art and its most notable proponents. Free
Manga workshop | Ateliers du Square | 6 to 9 April
The ateliers du Square offer budding artists aged 7 and over the chance to work on emotions and expressions by drawing mangas, afternoons from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. CHF 240 (equipment and snack included)
Message in a bottle | MHN | Throughout the holidays
In Bouteille à la mer2120 - Te Ao Maori, at the Muséum de Genève, the Maori artist, George Yuku, plunges us into the dreamlike depths where everything is made of plastic and where the poetry of it all pushes us to think about pollution and our relationship with nature. From CHF 0 to CHF 10 (admission includes access to the Bouteille à la mer exhibition), closed on Mondays.
Calvin in America | MIR | Throughout the holidays
In November 1620, passengers including puritan reformers and the crew of the Mayflower reached the coast of Massachusetts where they founded a colony. Through a combination of music, a virtual reality experience and an ingenious exhibition of objects and posters, the Musée international de la réforme offers the public the chance to revisit this story while having a little fun. The Académie de Comédie Musicale de Genève offers children aged 7 and over the chance to discover the performing arts through a five-day stage musical course focussing on the classic “Mamma Mia”.
