What if an elephant whispered in your ear and told you about the treasures of the Museum?
That's what the Geneva Natural History Museum has decided to do to help you discover or rediscover the Treasures exhibition, which brings together 200 exceptional pieces from the collections of the institution, which celebrates its 200th anniversary in 2020.
A new immersive sound trail allows you to meet these specimens as if they were brought back to life. Monologues, dialogues, poetic declamations: this new sound varnish mixes genres to better surprise you. The main storyteller is Miss Djeck the elephant. Her skull is one of the most astonishing pieces in the Museum, because it tells the incredible - and unenviable - life of this circus animal shot by cannon in the ditches of Geneva in 1837 after having been acclaimed throughout Europe and even in the United States. Let the show begin!
Headsets are available at the ticket office on the 3rd floor.
