Musiques en été - Blues Soul

Robert Finley’s story commands respect. An army veteran turned carpenter, the Louisiana native overcame a divorce, a fire and a car accident before losing his sight in his sixties – a forced break that led him to finally pursue a long-delayed musical career. And the rise was swift: his two records produced by The Black Keys’ Dan Auerbach revealed a formidable songwriter with an extraordinarily flexible voice, capable of shifting from growl to velvety whisper and striking falsetto in the greatest Afro-American tradition. One of the major soul and blues voices of the new millennium, without a doubt!
