Obtaining temporary accommodation

This procedure indicates the steps to be followed to obtain temporary accommodation.

Who is this procedure intended for?

This procedure is intended solely for people in a highly precarious situation, and in particular those who do not benefit from the assistance of other public social services. They must satisfy the following criteria: be over 25, have a valid driving licence (B or C) or be of Swiss nationality and have been a resident of Geneva for at least 2 years. The role of the Temporary Accommodation Unit (ULT) is not to provide a solution to the housing crisis.

What to do?

You can reach by phone the Temporary Accommodation Unit’s surgery every Wednesday morning from 9 a.m. to 11.30 a.m. on 022 418 98 60.
