This procedure enables companies, associations or volunteer groups to organise volunteer cleaning actions within the City of Geneva with the logistical support of the Street Cleaning - Clean City Service.
Who is this procedure intended for?
This procedure is intended for companies, associations or volunteer groups wanting to organise a cleaning action within the City of Geneva.
What is a cleaning action?
It is a volunteer cleaning initiative, organised by an organisation (companies, associations, volunteer groups), with the aim of working as a team for a few hours to pick up small pieces of rubbish, without using any mechanical means, left lying on the ground in squares, streets or small green areas within the City of Geneva.
This type of action contributes to making the city a pleasant place to live while making the general public more aware of and responsible for the right behaviour to adopt. That is why the Street Cleaning - Clean City Service encourages these initiatives and provides them with logistical support.
