Renting a bike

Who is this procedure intended for?

This procedure is intended for all citizens.

What are the rates and conditions?

The bikes provided by Genèveroule require a deposit (from CHF 20 to CHF 100). Bikes must be returned during opening hours. In the event of a delay, additional days are billed at the daily rate.

Which documents are required?

You can rent a bike from Genèveroule upon presentation of proof of ID.

What to do?

You can contact Genèveroule, an independent association subsidised by the City of Geneva. It provides bikes for rent throughout the year.

You can also contact Rent a Bike, a partner association of the Chemins de fer fédéraux (CFF), which provides bikes for rent at Cornavin railway station in Geneva. A bike borrowed from Geneva station can be returned to any other station in Switzerland.
