Renting a parking space in the City of Geneva

This procedure enables you to submit a request to the municipal property management department to rent a parking space.

It should be noted that the vehicle registration number must be indicated on the parking space, with the cost of this to be borne by the tenant.

Who is this procedure intended for?

This procedure is intended for citizens who:

  • are tenants in the City of Geneva;
  • live in the district in question.

Which documents are required?

Your complete application must be accompanied by the following documents:

For private citizens

  • a copy of the vehicle registration document;
  • a copy of an ID document.

For companies

  • a copy of the vehicle registration document;
  • a copy of the articles of association or an extract from the commercial register.

How will your application be processed?

The request is valid for 6 months. It will be satisfied according to availability. When we are able to offer you a space likely to suit you, our services will contact you directly.

You can download the parking space rental request form below, print it, complete it and return it to the municipal property management department (GIM).
