Requesting authorisation to lower a pavement

This procedure enables a person to request authorisation to lower a pavement.

Who is this procedure intended for?

This procedure is intended for any natural or legal person who may wish to request that a pavement be lowered.

Which documents are required?

Your application must be accompanied by the following documents:

  • a site plan;
  • a scale plan;
  • a brief description of the work accompanied by a precise, detailed description of the pavement lowering (dimensions, etc.)

The form must be countersigned by the owner in the event of long-term lowering of a pavement.

All sections of the form must be completed. In particular, the contact details of all persons concerned must be indicated: applicant, manager, owner and agent. If these are one and the same person, the contact details must nevertheless be indicated in each section.

What to do?

You must download the request form to open excavations, pipes, anchorages and similar installations and to break or lower pavements below, print it, complete it and return it to the Department of Public Areas.
