Submitting a request for occasional support

Who is this procedure intended for?

Under certain conditions, the Social Service of the City of Geneva (SOC) allocates occasional support to people in difficult situations. This procedure is intended for any family or person faced with a difficult situation and living within the territory of the City of Geneva.

What to do?

The request must be submitted by the social assistant dealing with the beneficiary in one of the following organisations:

• Caritas Genève
• The Centre social protestant
• F-information
• The Hospice général
• Pro Infirmis
• Pro senectute
• The Social Service of the Central Bureau for Social Assistance (BCAS)
• SOS-Femmes
