The Social Service of the City of Geneva (SOC) awards social benefits under certain conditions.
Who is this procedure intended for?
This procedure is intended for the inhabitants of the City of Geneva who are entitled to cantonal benefits in addition to old-age pension and disability insurance (SPC, former OCPA), with the exception of people in an institution and those benefiting from assistance benefits.
Which documents are required?
Your application must be accompanied by the ruling of the Supplementary Benefits Office (SPC, former OCPA).

You can download the social benefit request form below, print it, complete it and return it to the address indicated at the bottom of the page.
The following amounts are awarded:
- CHF 200 for 1 person
- CHF 286 for 2 people
CHF 43 for each additional person.
