The 12 games libraries in the City of Geneva offer children and families the chance to borrow games. They are also meeting places which organise a number of activities.
The games libraries provide families with a place where they can play and borrow games. They also help create social ties.
Children discover or rediscover game rules and behavioural rules which will serve them throughout their life.
To encourage social cohesion, the City of Geneva actively supports the associations of games libraries. It provides them with premises and funds their operations. By doing so, the City supports the commitment of all the games librarians.
Throughout the summer, the games libraries of Eaux-Vives, Plainpalais-Jonction, Pré-Picot, Prêt-Ludes, Saint-Jean, 1-2-3...Planète and Sécheron organise activities in the local parks and school yards. More info on the page of each games library.
