The performing arts in Geneva

In the field of the performing arts, the City of Geneva has set itself the dual goal of creating the conditions and infrastructures conducive to hosting pioneering contemporary creation while protecting local creative potential.

In the very near future, the worlds of dance, music and theatre will benefit from new premises in which to perform. These new premises will also channel the precious energy injected into the scene by different troupes and the numerous groups active in these fields:

The cultural scenes

The City of Geneva has several cultural scenes, including three concert halls, each with their own clearly defined identities. While the Victoria Hall has always been the home of classical music, the roles of the Casino Théâtre and the Alhambra have changed over the years.

Production companies or private individuals can hire these halls for the purposes of cultural events.
