Every year, the City of Geneva organises a welcome ceremony for all the people newly arrived in the city.
Have you moved to the city of Geneva during the past twelve months? During the autumn, the city of Geneva invites you to a welcome ceremony held in your honour.
This ceremony offers you the chance to become better acquainted with the city and its authorities. It is also an opportunity to inform each new arrival of the services provided in fields such as education, recreation, culture, sport and transport.
On the programme
- speech by the authorities, musical events and testimonies;
- aperitif and informal meeting with the authorities;
- public service information stands.
“Follow the guide” web series
To welcome new arrivals and accompany them as they settle in, the City of Geneva has also developed a web series with the actress, Brigitte Rosset.
