The “Troc social” is a free knowledge-, service- and skill-sharing service between inhabitants and partners within the same district designed to foster mutual aid and support.
The “Troc social” service places human ties and solidarity at the heart of the process.
In each district, the local social outreach centres catalogue, match and coordinate the proposals of certain citizens with the needs of others. They form the link between any requests that might be made by the inhabitants or groups, the institutions or the associations.
How does it work?
Anyone in need of individual support or additional help within their organisation can call on a volunteer from the same district. This might involve spending some time in good company, for example, or joining an existing association, resolving an IT problem, providing assistance with administrative procedures or simply chatting. The local social outreach centre within the district places these people in contact with a volunteer.
Anyone wishing to give their time in order to provide a person or partner within the district with support, share their skills and foster the network of mutual aid and support within their neighbourhood can register as a volunteer with the local social outreach centre. The contact details are shown at the bottom of the page.
