Today, golf is no longer reserved for an elite group: the urban version is designed for all-comers and can be enjoyed freely and informally in the city’s parks, promenades and gardens. It is an ideal occasion to combine a physical activity with a moment of relaxation while strolling around a park or taking a break by the lake shore.

Principle of the game

Urban golf is played in pairs and the aim is to complete 8 holes in as few shots as possible.

Where and when can you play urban golf?

Urban golf is organised from 3 July to 20 August 2023. It is open 7 days a week, from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. but not available in case of rainy weather.

The course starts in Parc des Bastions, where the equipment is distributed in the hut next to the Bastions kiosk (Place-Neuve entrance).

The 7 stations on the circuit offer you a chance to rediscover various emblematic heritage sites around the city, such as the Promenade de la Treille, the Jardin Anglais and the Brunswick Monument.
