A good barbecue can’t be cooked just anywhere! Specially designated areas in several parks around Geneva are available to you.
To ensure harmonious cohabitation between the different activities in the parks, the City of Geneva proposes areas specially designed for barbecues.
These areas are part of a pilot project; accordingly, the different facilities are not identical.
With the exception of certain events organised by the City of Geneva and outside the areas mentioned below, barbecues are prohibited in the city’s parks.
Location of barbecue areas
The facilities in the barbecue areas are freely accessible during the summer (until september) in the following places:
The barbecue area in Parc La Grange is located upstream from the Ella Fitzgerald stage, near the ruins of the Roman Villa.
This area is freely accessible during the summer season until September.
This barbecue area is located on the border of the Perle du Lac and Barton parks, down by the water, between the Museum of the History of Science and Villa Barton.
This area is freely accessible during the summer season, until September.
