Biography of Emmanuelle Bayart
The work of the photographer, Emmanuelle Bayart, is a representation – in documentary format – of the sociological, anthropological and cultural dimensions of how individuals become part of a territory.
Commémoration, her first book of photographs, published in 2014 by the Centre de la photographie Genève and distributed by Les presses du réel, is devoted to the municipality of Sarcelles, in the suburbs of Paris, and its memorials, highlighting the considerable diversity of its inhabitants.
