This temporary venue dedicated to leisure, well-being and sport welcomes the public from 5 May to 10 September 2023, with the possibility of eating on site.
Sports classes and leisure activities
For the third year running, the City of Geneva is organising free sports classes and leisure activities at la Canopée, open to all ages. These classes are held in the morning from 8.30 a.m. to midday and in the evening from 6.30 p.m. to 7.30 p.m. In a shady green setting, you can discover activities such as cross training, yoga, pilates and zumba. There is no need to register beforehand to take part in these classes.
Free stand-up comedy shows and concerts
From the last week in June, under the grand arch of La Canopée, the public will be able to enjoy:
- stand-up comedy evenings every Thursday;
- concerts every Saturday evening.

Games for all ages
Every Wednesday from 6 July to 7 September, 3.30 p.m. to 6.15 p.m., entertainment and games for young and old will be made available to the public by the games library of les Eaux-Vives.
Refreshments bar, food truck and hammocks
From 26 May, La Canopée will host a refreshments bar run by the Association de Soutien à la Musique Vivante (ASMV). A food truck will also be on hand. Visitors can therefore enjoy a bite to eat on a patio by the water’s edge or even enjoy a game of pétanque. A shady relaxation area with thirty hammocks will also be available to the public.
