Although the building is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site, its reputation has been slow to take shape, and it remains little known to the people of Geneva. Clarté's innovative character attracted photographers. Their images, now preserved at the Bibliothèque de Genève, trace the visual history of the building and the changes in the Villereuse district.
