What is a Municipal Saver Day Pass?
Replacing the old CFF day pass, the Municipal Saver Day Pass is a new offer from CFF, which will go on sale on 11 December 2023. It will be issued in the user’s name, either as a mobile or printed ticket.
The first possible travel day is 1 January 2024.
Validity of the passes
The passes are valid for the chosen day, on the lines within the radius of validity of the GA, until 5 a.m. the next day.
A stock for the whole of Switzerland
All the participating cities and municipalities in Switzerland will have access to the same stock of discounted passes. Once this stock is exhausted, it will not be possible to purchase a discounted municipal day pass from a different city or municipality in Switzerland for the desired day.

The passes are always issued in the user’s name.
Travellers must be able to prove their identity to the public transport inspectors by means of an official identity document bearing a photo or a valid public transport pass. Any resale or transfer of the passes is therefore prohibited.
