COVID certificates: measures put in place for demonstrations and receptions

In view of the changing health situation with the COVID-19 pandemic, the Executive Council has decided to insist that COVID-19 certificates (showing vaccination, recovery from COVID-19 or a negative PCR or lateral flow test) for people participating in demonstrations and receptions organised indoors by the City of Geneva, with a maximum of 30 people for group activities on registration.

Third parties organising events indoors in City of Geneva facilities are also strongly advised to insist that participants show a COVID certificate. If federal or cantonal authorities were to impose this requirement, it would make this an explicit condition of providing municipal infrastructure for the event in question.

All organisers of events taking place indoors within the city are also advised to insist participants show a COVID certificate. If federal or cantonal authorities were to impose this requirement, it would make this an explicit condition of granting authorisation for the event in question.

These measures do not apply to events organised outdoors, for which there is no intention to insist on COVID certificates at this stage.
