Night of the bats 2023

From 6 p.m. on Friday 25 August, plunge into the world of bats for one full evening in Parc des Evaux. Accompanied by specialists, discover how these nocturnal species live in order to better understand how to live alongside them.

Created by the Museum and the Bat Centre (CCO), this event has become one of the most important events in Switzerland for naturalists.
This year, it will be held in Parc des Evaux. Les Evaux events room and patio will host a range of free activities throughout the evening for people of every age

Activities open to the public

  • "Bat” make-up.
  • Conference on bats (8 p.m. and 9 p.m.).
  • Stands: experts will tell you all about the biology and study of these nocturnal mammals.
  • Protection of bats: what if we encouraged them at home?
  • Taxidermy demonstration: with a specialist from the Museum.
  • Acoustic walks: every 30 mins from 8.30 p.m. (registration the same evening).
