Are you familiar with “Cé qu’è lainô”, Mother Kingdom, chocolate cauldrons and the villainous Savoyards attacking Geneva? From 28 November, whether you have just arrived in Geneva or have lived here for decades, Geneva Library invites you to relive the events of that decisive night of 11-12 December 1602. Ah! The great Escalade!
The not-to-be-missed exhibition for all the family can be seen in the Library’s “Couloir des coups d’œil” in Les Bastions. Part of the exhibition can also be explored online, if you want to enjoy a remote foretaste.
In just a few minutes, guided visits will enable the public to understand how this famous night unfolded or to explore the origins of “Cé qu’è lainô”.
