From a very early age, Fanny and Felix Mendelssohn showed an extraordinary talent for music. In view of the constraints imposed by the customs of the time, Fanny Mendelssohn put her musical activity on the back burner, while Felix's career as a conductor and composer fizzled out. Despite all this, the two remained emotionally very close and held each other in high esteem.

To revisit this rich relationship and its grey areas, the Geneva Chamber Orchestra welcomes its associate artist Holly Hyun Choe, who will conduct this concert with enthusiasm and mastery.
