Buvette estivale de la Barje des Sciences durant un cours de danse

From May to September, the Barje sets up the Chaloupe à vapeur (formerly the Barje des Sciences) in front of the Museum of Science History, serving up drinks, local snacks and a variety of free cultural events.

La Chaloupe à vapeur is open to the public from mid-May to September 2023.

Supported from the very outset by the City of Geneva, the Association La Barje has operated an associative, social and cultural refreshment stand in front of the Museum of Science History in Parc de la Perle du Lac since 2009.

An independent structure, this relaxation and leisure site promotes the sale of regional products, the redistribution of operating profits to the different associations and the creation of jobs for young people.
