The Botanical Conservatory and Gardens of Geneva

With their prestigious collections and an ideal setting for exploring plant heritage, the CJBG is an international Mecca of botanical science. A true open-air museum, the CJBG also participates in numerous regional, national and international scientific research programmes that make the institute a renowned player in the global development of knowledge and the preservation of plant biodiversity. In light of the environmental issues and climate challenge currently facing us, the new director will be tasked with pursuing and developing the actions already launched while enhancing public awareness through a cultural and scientific programme that is both accessible and engaging. He will call on the existing expertise, both at the museum and within the City, as well as a dense network of academic and associative partners active in these fields.
