To welcome the population in even better circumstances, the current arcade on Boulevard Carl-Vogt will close its doors on the evening of Monday 4 September in order to move to its new premises at 9 Rue de la Terrassière. The public will be able to discover the new centre from 8.30 a.m. on Friday 8 September 2023.
Popular with the local population and visitors passing through, the Espace Ville de Genève provides the public with cultural, social, tourism and sports services.
By leaving the district of la Jonction and moving to the district of Rive, the Espace Ville de Genève will benefit from a central and easily accessible location adapted to the different people making use of its services.
New activities
Larger than its predecessor, the new arcade has been designed to offer the population new activities including special events, exhibitions and gatherings. The first scheduled events will be unveiled during the autumn.
The new Espace Ville de Genève will maintain the opening times previously in force, from 11.30 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. on Mondays and from 8.30 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. from Tuesday to Friday.
