The Lake Parade is back, more festive than ever, for its 23rd edition. The programme includes two days of celebration and a new stage installed close to the beach in les Eaux-Vives.
Lake Parade - Saturday 15 July from 3 p.m.
The musical Lake Parade will set off at 3 p.m. Participants can begin gathering from midday at Parc Mont-Repos. The parade will follow Quai Wilson and Quai du Mont-Blanc before crossing Pont du Mont-Blanc around 5 p.m. and continuing along Quai Gustave-Ador to Baby Plage.
It should be noted that 4 bars will be set up so that the numerous participants don’t go thirsty – one at the beginning of the parade, one near les Bains des Pâquis, another in front of the Horloge Fleurie and a fourth one in front of the Jet d'Eau.
Two music stages will be set up, one in the Jardin Anglais and the other in front of the Jet d'Eau.
Lake Sensation – Saturday 15 July, from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m.
Three hours later, the public will arrive on Quai Gustave-Ador for the beginning of the famous Lake Sensation, which will continue until 2 a.m. the following morning.
The After Lake Parade – Sunday 16 July, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The Lake Parade prolongs the festivities, organising the After Lake Parade on Sunday 16 July, a brunch for families enjoyed to the backdrop of musical entertainment, live concerts and DJ sets, with numerous food stands and entertainment for young and old alike, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
