And yet... it moves! It is with a tip of the hat to Galileo that the 13th edition of the Nuit de la science returns this year on 9 and 10 July in Parc de la Perle du Lac. Different stands will offer you the chance to talk to scientists and enthusiasts: demonstrations, scientific shows and exhibitions.
The Nuit de la Science will be held at the Science History Museum and in the magnificent Parc de la Perle du Lac on 9 and 10 July.
With this year’s theme of “And yet...”, a tip of the hat to Galileo, you are invited to explore everything that is counter-intuitive, hidden, seemingly strange or surprising.
Talk, discuss or question
The science stands offer you the chance to talk to, discuss with or question scientists and science enthusiasts in person. Numerous demonstrations, scientific shows, games and exhibitions will present wonders and different avenues for thought.
As you stroll or hurry round, pick up some titbits of knowledge, savour the presentations, dream at the odd instruments and share curiosities. There is something for everyone, young and old alike.
Practical information
- Saturday 9 July: 2 p.m. until late into the evening
- Sunday 10 July: midday to 7 p.m.
- Open to all, whatever the weather ,free of charge!
