In order to support local businesses, which are currently experiencing a difficult period due to the health crisis, the Administrative Council – spearheaded by the Department of Safety and Sport – has decided to grant a 50% reduction on the encroachment tax for advertising processes and signs (menus on an easel in front of restaurants, lists of products sold in a shop, banners announcing events, etc.).
For the same reasons, companies responsible for managing advertising boards in public areas have been exempted of fees for the second semester and will benefit from a 50% reduction on fees for the 1st, 3rd and 4th quarters of 2020.
