With Aurélia Thierrée
At long last, we (re)present this show by Victoria Thierrée Chaplin, performed in 2021 at the Théatre de Carouge for a limited audience due to health and safety restrictions. Plunged into a phantasmagorical universe, Aurélia Thierrée and Jaime Martinez perform inside a magical world full of poetry. Irresistibly drawn to the objects around her, Aurélia, an insatiable kleptomaniac, can’t help “borrowing” them and, at her touch, they revolt and take on a life of their own. In this universe in perpetual motion, walls open and close, a coat rack walks, and characters transform before our eyes as if by magic. These two artists perform a ballet of infinite tenderness, a spectacle full of charm and impertinence that awakens the child within, leaving the audience entranced and enthralled.
