Genevan harmonica player Grégoire Maret is currently the best-known musician on his instrument. With his unique sound and uncommon lyricism, he is the heir to the great Toots Thielemans.
Since arriving in New York in the mid-90s, he has played with some of the greatest musicians of our time. This long list includes Herbie Hancock, Pat Metheny, Marcus Miller, George Benson and all the big names in New York jazz and pop.
For his appearance at the AMR, where he began his career, Grégoire will present original music where melody and groove take precedence.
