Paris, 2010. In an ancient manuscript, medievalist Emanuele Arioli discovers a fragment of an unknown story. It concerns the adventures of a knight named Segurant, condemned by the fairy Morgana to pursue an imaginary dragon. Who is this knight, and where does this text come from? Is it a remnant of a Round Table novel?
Guided by the flair of a manuscript hunter, the young researcher sets out on the trail of the Knight of the Dragon. For ten years, he travelled the world's finest libraries and the mythical sites of Arthurian legend, to complete the most famous legend of the medieval world: the story of King Arthur and his knights.
Le Chevalier au Dragon, le roman disparu de la Table Ronde is a captivating 90-minute documentary film, directed by Marie Thiry and co-written by Emanuele Arioli.
