The schools fair 2023 is organised on the theme of the four elements. Thousands of children have thus been able to prepare hats and fancy dress outfits on the theme of earth, water, air and fire. The public is looking forward to seeing the traditional parade that will be broadcast live on Léman Bleu Télévision.
Coordinated by the Schools Service of the City of Geneva and involving numerous municipal services as well as hundreds of volunteers, the schools fair 2023 is organised on the theme of the four elements.
Programme for Wednesday 28 June
From 9 a.m. to 11.30 a.m. on the morning of Wednesday 28 June, Parc des Bastions is reserved for the pupils of classes 1P and 2P. The children will meet at their schools and head to the park with their teachers to enjoy the rides and shows before returning to their schools where their parents will pick them up at midday.
During the afternoon of Wednesday 28 June, the pupils of classes 3P and 4P will parade through the streets on this year’s theme before heading to the park to enjoy all the fun until 5.30 p.m., when their parents come to pick them up.
Programme for Friday 30 June
On Friday 30 June, the schools fair for pupils of classes 5P to 8P is open to all.
From 5 p.m., everyone present in Parc des Bastions will be able to enjoy attractions, games, shows, walks, snacks, live music and a DJ set.
And the highlight of the evening will be an original mapping projected onto the Palais Anna et Jean-Gabriel Eynard at 10 p.m.!
The event will be held irrespective of the weather. The children will go directly to the event and will be under their parents’ responsibility throughout the evening.
