Nikolay Khozyainov is one of the most extraordinary musicians of the world. His exceptional musicality and formidable technique thrill audiences across the planet.
By the age of 6, Maestro had already made his debut with the Moscow Philharmonic Orchestra. At the age of 7, he made his debut in Munich and Frankfurt, at the age of 9 at the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées in Paris, at the age of 16 in the United States and at the age of 17 at the United Nations.
Since then, he gives sold out performances on all continents at the world’s foremost stages, such as Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center in New York, Kennedy Center in Washington, Wigmore Hall in London, The Louvre and Théâtre des Champs-Élysées, Salle Gaveau in Paris, Tchaikovsky Hall in Moscow, Tokyo’s Suntory Hall, Sydney Opera House, Tonhalle in Zurich, Palazzo Quirinale in Rome, Auditorio Nacional in Madrid, Victoria Hall in Geneva, the United Nations and many others.
Khozyainov performs regularly with the London Philharmonia Orchestra, Tokyo Symphony Orchestra, Sydney Symphony Orchestra, Warsaw Philharmonic Orchestra, Czech National Symphony Orchestra, Russian State Symphony Orchestra, Russian Philharmonic Orchestra, The Yomiuri Nippon Symphony Orchestra, RTE National Symphony Orchestra of Ireland among many others.
Maestro Nikolay Khozyainov has been honored by numerous heads of state. He was knighted Knight Commander by the King of Spain in 2022, and Maestro was decorated by Emperor Akihito and Empress Michiko of Japan at his concert at Suntory Hall in Tokyo.
In 2022 Maestro Nikolay Khozyainov was commissioned by the United Nations to write a piece for his Concert for Peace at the UN. Maestro Khozyainov performed the world premiere of his “Petals of Peace” at the Human Rights’ Hall of the United Nations in November 2022.
His music is published by Muse Press in Tokyo.
